A beautiful rosewood coffee table by Arne Halvorsen for Rasmus Solberg of Norway.
Pencil markings on the label: "4 80". This may indicate that it was received by someone in April, 1980, but we do not have an exact knowledge of when the table was made. Halvorsen/Solberg were producing these tables in the 1970s, and most rosewood production stopped in the early 1990s, when harvesting and importing Brazilian rosewood was prohibited by international law.

Notes on Condition:
There are some very fine scratches in the high-polish finish, consistent with age and normal use, mostly invisible to the eye, except in rare instances of very bright light sources at low angles. This table is extremely solid and sturdy.
